IS THIS THE RIGHT NEXT STEP?

When to consider
ev charger installation.

  • You want dependable charging where you park.
  • A new EV is arriving and you need to plan ahead.
  • Your existing receptacle or charging setup needs evaluation.

DEFINE THE WORK

What the project
can involve.

We discuss your vehicle, daily driving, parking location, and preferred equipment. We then assess available electrical capacity, circuit routing, mounting conditions, and charger requirements. Hardwired and receptacle-based options are considered only where appropriate for the equipment and applicable requirements.

Discuss your scope for a home in our North County service area.

FROM ASSESSMENT TO INSTALLATION

A plan before
the work begins.

The project starts with equipment specifications and a site assessment. We define the circuit and installation scope, evaluate whether a load calculation or service work is needed, and identify permit requirements. Installation is followed by checks and a walkthrough of the installed setup. Vehicle and charger compatibility must be confirmed before purchase.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR ESTIMATE

What affects
the cost?

Charger location, wiring distance, access, conduit routing, trenching, existing panel capacity, equipment selection, and any required service changes influence the estimate. Charger equipment and surface restoration are included only when stated in the proposal.

We do not publish a one-size-fits-all price for work that depends on your home. Call to discuss an estimate.

EV Charger Installation

Your questions,
answered.

Should I buy the charger first?

Share the model and installation instructions before ordering. Confirming the electrical requirements and location early can prevent an unsuitable purchase.

How fast will my car charge?

Charging depends on the vehicle’s onboard limits, charger settings, circuit capacity, and available electrical supply. No single charging speed applies to every home.

Are rebates available?

Programs and eligibility can change. Verify current terms with the program administrator; an installation does not guarantee a rebate.
